An OmeTV Alternative for People Who'd Rather Type
Last updated
OmeTV is one of the best-known random video chat apps, and it's one of the names people search for most since Omegle closed. But video chat means turning on your camera for whoever you land on next.
KnotChat keeps the part people love — instant one-on-one matching with a random stranger — and drops the camera. It's anonymous text chat you can open in your browser, with no account needed.
Why people switch to KnotChat
No camera required
Nobody sees your face, your room or your surroundings. You're known only by the gender and age group you pick.
Lighter and faster
Text chat loads instantly and works on slow mobile data where video stutters.
Nothing stored
Stranger-chat messages are relayed live and never written to a database.
